But what exactly does a birthday cake taste of? Light sponge cake with a confetti design, white cream with a classic vanilla and caramel flavour and a colourful mix of decorations make our Birthday Cake a true taste sensation.

A party treat for young and old

Our on-trend Birthday Cake is a party treat for young and old. It’s easy to make and comes in one handy package. Our new cake mix is the guaranteed showstopper on your baking table – and not just for birthdays.


You’ll also need:

For the dough:

  • 3 eggs (medium)
  • 100 g soft butter

For the cream:

  • 200 ml cold milk (1.5% fat)
  • 200 g cream


Prepare the dough:

  1. Fold the baking tray as described in the instructions and place it on a baking sheet.
  2. Put the baking mix, eggs and soft butter in a mixing bowl and mix it using the electric hand mixer (whisk) briefly on the lowest setting at first, then on the highest setting for 3 minutes, until creamy.
  3. Stir in the colourful confetti decorations.

To bake:

  1. Put the dough in the baking tray, smooth out and bake in the bottom third of a preheated oven. Once baked, leave the base to cool in the tray for 10 minutes, then carefully loosen the paper collar.
  2. Leave the base to cool completely before removing the bottom of the tray. Then, cut through the base twice to create three layers of equal thickness.
  3. Tip! The base can also be prepared the day before. In that case, it should only be taken out of the tray just before use.


  1. Put the cold milk and cream into a tall mixing container. Add the cream powder and beat using an electric hand mixer (whisk) briefly on the lowest setting and then on the highest setting for approx. 2 minutes.
  2. Spread around 120 g of the cream over the bottom layer. Place the second cake layer on the cream layer and repeat the process.
  3. Complete with the third cake layer, then spread the remaining cream all over the cake.
  4. Decorate with Birthday Cake decorations to finish.


baking mix: wheat flour, sugar, baking powder (acid diphosphates, raising agent sodium carbonates), starch, wheat starch, emulsifiers (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), salt, flavouring (milk).

creme powder: sugar, glucose syrup, vegetable oils (palm), modified starch, emulsifier lactic acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, milk protein, gelatine (beef), maltodextrin, gelling agent carrageenan, flavouring (milk and products thereof), natural flavouring, colour caustic sulphite caramel.

birthday cake decor (11,6 %): sugar, wheat starch, fully hydrogenated sunflower oil, concentrate from (blackcurrant, carrot, lemon, radish, safflower, spirulina, sweet potato, beetroot), glucose syrup, coconut oil, colours (capsanthin, curcumin).

colourful confetti decor (9,4 %): sugar, starch, palm fat, rice flour, colours (brillant blue FCF, carmines, curcumin, carotenes), natural flavouring.
