Biscuit Baking Kit with Glaze and Sugar Stars

Baking Christmas biscuits together is a lovely ritual to welcome in the festive season. Keep these freshly baked Christmas biscuits in tins to help them last days or weeks. So it’s easy for you to bake ahead and enjoy the biscuits for the entire festive season. Homemade cookies are always a highlight as a gift or something to bring.

Sweet, tasty biscuits are now really quick and easy to prepare with our biscuit baking kit. The kit comes with red glaze and sugar stars for added decorating fun.


What else you’ll need

For the dough:

  • 125 g soft butter
  • 1 egg (medium)
  • a little flour for rolling out

For the glaze:

  • approx. 2 tbsp water


Make the dough:

  1. Put the baking mix, butter and egg in a
    mixing bowl. Make into crumbs using an electric hand mixer (dough hook),
    then knead by hand into a smooth dough and shape into a ball.
  2. Leave
    the dough to rest in the fridge for around 30 minutes. Cooling the
    dough for longer makes it easier to roll out. If the dough is very hard,
    just give it a quick knead through on a floury surface.


  1. First of all, pre-heat the oven top and bottom heat to approx. 200 °C (fan approx. 180 °C).
  2. Roll
    out the dough thinly on a floury surface, cut out shapes using cookie
    cutters and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake
    on the middle shelf of a pre-heated oven for around 8 minutes. The
    baking time may vary depending on the size and thickness of the biscuits
    cut out.


  1. Mix the glaze mix with the water. If the glaze is too thick, add a little water until you achieve the desired consistency.
  2. Spread the glaze on the cooled biscuits. Sprinkle the nonpareils on the glaze before it sets.


Baking Mix ({wheat} flour, sugar, {wheat} starch, salt, flavouring), icing (sugar, {lactose}, modified starch, colouring food beetroot juice concentrate, colour carotenes), sugar stars (sugar, starch, palm kernel fat, rice flour, natural flavouring).
