Hazelnut Cake Glaze 100 g

What would a nut cake be without the right glaze? Only half as tasty.

Our hazelnut glaze is a wonderfully nutty melt-in-your-mouth coating for your nut cakes and pies, biscuits and muffins. It’s easy to make the glaze with its handy pouch using a water bath or microwave. The glaze is gluten-free and free from hydrogenated fats.


To make in the water bath:

  1. Lie or stand the sachet in hot water for around 10 minutes. Once the glaze is completely liquid, carefully remove the sachet from the water, dry, knead quickly and cut open at the top corner.
  2. Now spread the glaze on the cooled bake.

To make in the microwave:

  1. Place the sachet upright in the microwave and heat on low power(no more than 240 watts) for 3 – 4 minutes, until the glaze is liquid.
  2. If necessary, heat again in the microwave for another few moments.
  3. Then briefly knead the sachet, cut open the top corner and spread the glaze on the cooled bake.

Note: Heating on too high a setting or for too long may affect the quality of the glaze.
