Lots of new breakfast trends are conquering our kitchens and kicking sweet cornflakes, sugary mueslis and boring white bread to the kerb. And quite right too: these trends are giving us a varied, hearty start to the day.
It doesn’t matter whether you opt for porridge, granola, proats, overnight oats or even zoats – all these breakfast trends have one thing in common: oats. With lots of minerals and plenty of fibre, they make a perfect base.
For a sweet start to the day
Another new porridge trend that’s taking our breakfast bowls by storm is pudding oats! This blend of dessert pudding and porridge is a healthy dish that satisfies a craving for something sweet – perfect for sweet tooths in the morning or a (hot) snack between meals.
Quick and easy pudding oats
