Gluten-free Chocolate Muffins

Looking for a recipe for gluten-free muffins? We’ve got just the thing for you!

It’s hard to find a simple recipe for tasty gluten-free muffins. Converting the simplest recipes with flours containing gluten isn’t an easy task. We set our minds to developing a recipe for you and created these wonderfully moist and chocolatey muffins. With lots of crisp chocolate chips and a wonderful chocolate flavour, these muffins are a dream come true. They’re nice and easy to prepare and the cases are already included.


What else you’ll need

  • 2 medium eggs
  • 150 ml water
  • 125 ml cooking oil


Make the dough

  1. Preheat a conventional oven to around 180°C (fan approx. 160°C).
  2. Put the baking mix, egg, water and cooking oil into a mixing bowl, whisk until smooth for 1 minute and leave to stand for 5 minutes.


  1. Now place the 12 muffin cases on the baking tray.
  2. Distribute the dough equally between the cases using 2 teaspoons.
  3. Bake the muffins on the middle shelf of the preheated oven for around 30 minutes. Use a wooden skewer to check that the muffins are ready before taking them out of the oven.

Cool and glaze

  1. After baking, place the muffins on a wire rack to cool and place the glaze bag back in boiling hot water. Leave to soak for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Cut open the glaze sachet and decorate the cooled muffins with the liquid glaze.


baking mixture: sugar, rice flour, potato starch, fat reduced cocoa powder, baking powder (raising agent sodium hydrogen carbonate, acid diphosphates), thickeners (xanthan gum, guar gum), salt, natural flavouring.

cocoa containing fat glaze (14 %): sugar, vegetable fats (palm, cocos, shea), fat reduced cocoa powder (20 %), lactose, emulsifier lecithins.
