Strawberry-flavoured Custard Dessert

Custard is a classic dessert. Everyone remembers being allowed to scrape the rest out of the pot when mum or gran used to make custard – unforgettable!

It’s popular among kids and grownups with a sweet tooth, served hot or cold with fresh strawberries. It’s quick and easy to make with milk for pure strawberry pleasure.

What else you’ll need

  • 500 ml (1/2 l) milk
  • 40 g sugar

Preparation

  1. Set aside around 6 tablespoons of the 500 ml (1/2 l) milk and mix with the dessert powder and around 2 heaped tablespoons of sugar (40 g).
  2. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil. Remove the milk from the hob, add the mixed powder and bring to the boil properly again, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour the dessert into dessert glasses or a glass bowl and chill.

To turn out: Pour the dessert into a mould rinsed with clean water, chill and turn out when fully cooled.
