Glazed fruit tarts are a welcome sight on the kitchen table in summer. Yet some shy away from this, as many tart glazes contain gelatine. With our tart glaze, you can rest easy. It’s made using the plant-based thickening agent carrageenan.
Our tart glaze creates a lovely sheen and keeps the fruit fresh for longer. It’s unbelievably simple to make: simply mix the powder with boiling water and sugar and pour over the fruit tart.
