Coconut Macaroons

Coconut macaroons are a must in any biscuit selection. These tasty morsels are really quick and easy to make with our mix. All you need is 4 egg whites.

Preparation

Prepare the coconut macaroon mix:

  1. First of all, pre-heat the oven top and bottom heat to approx. 170 °C (fan approx. 150 °C), then separate the eggs.
  2. Put the baking mix and egg whites in a mixing bowl. Quickly blend everything into a mixture using an electric hand mixer (whisk) on a medium setting.

Bake

  1. Place the edible wafer papers on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  2. Use 2 teaspoons to distribute the coconut macaroon mixture onto the edible wafer papers and bake on the middle shelf of a pre-heated oven for 15-18 minutes. The baking time is around 5 minutes longer for a fan oven.

Leave to cool:

  1. Remove the coconut macaroons from the oven and leave to cool on the baking tray.
