If making your own light sauce is too tricky for you, we’re here to offer the perfect helping hand. With our sauce stabiliser, you can achieve a fine and light sauce – without using butter and flour. This low-calorie thickener binds the sauce quickly without lumps and tastes completely neutral. Simply sprinkle into the boiling fluid and you’re good to go.


  1. Sprinkle RUF sauce stabiliser straight into the cooking liquid (around 3 tbsp for 250 ml water). Leave to boil for around 1 minute, and the sauce is ready. If you’d like your sauce thicker, sprinkle in RUF Sauce Stabiliser and bring the sauce to the boil again.
  2. RUF Sauce Stabiliser is so versatile. It can be used to bind all kinds of sauces, like tomato, mustard, paprika and herb. The RUF Sauce Stabiliser is ideal for all kinds of fricassees, fine ragout and various suppers and one-pot dishes.
