Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake is always worth the indulgence, isn’t it? Chocolate cake comes in all different shapes and sizes, but they all have one thing in common. They taste best when the dough is lovely and light and moist.

If you like chocolate cake, you’ll love ours. The dough is wonderfully light and moist. With the dark cocoa glaze, we guarantee you’ll be in chocolate heaven. This cake is wonderfully easy to make and will go down a treat with those who love a good chocolate cake.

you need:
175 g soft margarine or butter
3 eggs (size M)
100 ml milk (1.5% fat)
some wheat flour for the mold

Preparation

1. Prepare dough:
place the baking mixture, soft margarine or butter, eggs and milk in a mixing bowl and stir briefly with an electric hand mixer (whisk) at the lowest setting, then at the highest setting for approx. 3 minutes until creamy.
2. Bake:
grease and flour a mold box (25 cm), add the dough and smooth out. Bake the cake in a preheated oven on a medium rack. After 15 minutes of baking, cut the cake lengthways in the middle about 1 cm deep. Before removing it, use a wooden stick to check whether the cake is cooked.
3. Cooling and glazing:
After baking, remove the cake from the mold and place on a wire rack to cool. Place the glaze bag in boiling water and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. Cut the bag open and spread the liquid glaze on the cooled cake with a knife.

Ingredients

Baking mixture: sugar, wheat flour, starch, fat reduced cocoa powder (5,6 %), 4,7 % chocolate flakes [sugar, cocoa mass, fat reduced cocoa powder, emulsifier lecithins, glazing agents (shellac, gum arabic)], baking powder (acid diphosphates, raising agent sodium carbonates), emulsifiers (E 475, E 471), salt, flavouring.

Cocoa containing fat glaze (15,8 %): sugar, vegetable fats (palm, cocos, shea), fat reduced cocoa powder (20 %), lactose, emulsifier lecithins.
