Chocolate Tart

This chocolate tart is sure to enchant all who try it. This refined French classic is a dream come true for chocoholics. The roasted cocoa beans give the tart an unbelievably chocolatey taste and make it incredibly creamy and gooey. Our chocolatey tart is great with afternoon coffee or to round off a delicious dinner. The highlight: our chocolate tart is ready and on the table in 35 minutes – it’s that easy to enjoy together.

What else you’ll need

  • 4 medium eggs
  • 200 g soft butter

Preparation

Make the dough

  1. Preheat a conventional oven to around 200 °C (fan approx. 180 °C) and line a springform tin (26 cm in diameter) with baking paper.
  2. Now put the baking mix, eggs and soft butter in a mixing bowl and briefly mix with an electric hand mixer (whisk) on the lowest setting first of all, then on the highest setting for around 3 minutes, until creamy.

Bake

  1. Place the dough in the lined springform tin and smooth out. Bake the cake on the middle shelf of the preheated oven for around 25 minutes.
  2. Use a wooden skewer to check the cake is ready before taking it out of the oven.

Cool

  1. After baking, remove the cake from the tray and place on a wire rack to cool.
  2. Once cooled, dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.

sugar, grated chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: lecithins), {wheat flour}, fat reduced cocoa powder (9%), cocoa kernels, corn starch, salt, flavouring.
