Gluten-free brownies

Everybody loves brownies. There’s a good reason why these are among the sweetest exports to reach our shores. These little American-style treats are quick and easy to make. But it isn’t just the classic recipes that impress. Gluten-free varieties are also unbelievably tasty and moist.

If you look online for a brownie recipe, you’ll soon find yourself throwing your hands up in despair. There are all kinds of recipes, all claiming to have the best tips. Which of course makes it tough to decide.

We have put together a great, classic, gluten-free ‘American brownie’ recipe for you. With our gluten-free brownie mix, you can whip up moist, chocolatey bites for those suffering from gluten intolerance or coeliac disease in the blink of an eye. You can’t go wrong with our gluten-free brownie – simply mix the ingredients, pop them in the oven, and you’ve got what might be the easiest brownie recipe in the world!

What else you’ll need

  • 2 medium eggs
  • 175 g soft butter
  • 100 ml milk (1.5% fat)

Preparation

Prepare the baking tray

  1. Fold the baking tray according to the instructions and bend the top of the edges outwards.
  2. A conventional oven should also be preheated to around 180 °C (fan approx. 160 °C).

Make the dough

  1. Put the baking mix, eggs, soft butter and milk in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric hand mixer (whisk) briefly on the lowest setting for a short while, then on the highest setting for around 2 minutes, until creamy.
  2. Set aside a tablespoon of chocolate chips for decorations. Quickly stir the rest of the chocolate chips into the dough.

Bake

  1. Now put the dough in the baking tray, smooth out and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips.
  2. Bake the brownies on the middle shelf of the preheated oven for around 25 minutes.
  3. Place on a wire rack to cool.

baking mixture: sugar, rice flour, fat reduced cocoa powder (8,8 %), thickeners (guar gum, xanthan gum), baking powder (raising agent sodium carbonates, acid diphosphates), salt.

chocolate pieces (14 %): cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier lecithins.
