Pizza dough

Funghi, margherita, tuna, quattro formaggi, or a crazy mix of all the above? When it comes to pizza, everyone has a different idea of what the topping should be. But the base is also crucial when it comes to making the perfect pizza. It has to be lovely and crispy on the bottom and nice and soft inside. The crust, whether thick or thin, should be light and airy.

There are so many pizza recipes around that it’s very hard to find the right one. With our dough mix, the dough rises exceptionally well in the oven. The tasty pizza sauce is already included in the pack, too. All you need to do is top the pizza with your favourite ingredients.


What else you’ll need

For the dough:

  • 150 ml lukewarm water
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

For the topping:

  • 150 ml water
  • ingredients of your choice
  • a little wheat flour for the worktop


Make the dough

  1. First of all, put the basic mix, yeast, lukewarm water and cooking oil in a mixing bowl. Mix with an electric hand mixer (dough hook) briefly on the lowest setting and then knead on the highest setting for around 2 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into a ball on a worktop lightly dusted with flour and leave to rest in a warm place for around 20 minutes.

Prepare the dough

  1. After the 20-minute rest phase, line a baking tray (approx. 40 x 30 cm) with baking paper.
  2. Give the dough another knead through on a floury worktop. Roll out 2 round or one rectangular base as preferred and place on the baking tray.
  3. Preheat a conventional oven to around 200 °C (fan approx. 180 °C).

Top the pizza and bake

  1. Now mix the pizza sauce mix with cold water and spread evenly over the dough.
  2. Add your desired toppings and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the pizza on the middle shelf of a preheated oven.


Baking Mixture: wheat flour, dextrose, salt, emulsifier lecithins.

Mixture for pizza sauce (11,1 %): sugar, modified wheat starch, tomato powder, salt, maltodextrin, glucose syrup, colouring food powdered beetroot, flavor enhancer E 621, acid citric acid, spices, flavouring.

Yeast: dry yeast, emulsifier E 491.

Yeast packaged in a protective atmosphere.
